We have returned to Kolkata on 13th Feb. after a pleasant trip to Sri Lanka. It was extremely well organized. We experienced some minor issues on the first day and they were addressed immediately. The hotels were good. The hotel in Nuwara Eliya (Mirag Kings Cottage) was excellent. Our guide cum driver was excellent. His punctuality and helpful attitude is praiseworthy. He is a man of few words but understood our needs perfectly. Being a Professor of Transportation Engineering, who has been working extensively on highway safety, I was delighted to find him to be a very alert driver- always obeying the traffic rules religiously. I was impressed with his road sense. Overall his presence made our trip memorable. I would be happy if you could kindly share our feelings with him. This was my fourth visit to Sri Lanka. Earlier trips were official in nature and thus could not find time to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka. Thanks to all of you.
